‘As you like it’ Salad Dressing

with Garden Salad

Ingredients

Salad dressing
  • About ½ cup olive oil
  • A splash of balsamic vinegar
  • Heaped teaspoon of Colman’s Wholegrain Mustard
  • Dollop of liquid honey
  • A squeeze of lemon juice
Garden Salad
  • Mesclun salad leaves
  • Fresh mint, chopped and mixed through leaves
  • Your favourite cheese, chopped
  • Carrots, chopped or diced
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Seedless grapes, halved
  • Red pepper, sliced
  • Celery, chopped
  • Avocado, sliced

Method

  1. Put all dressing ingredients into a jar or dressing shaker and give it a good shake. Increase or decrease the amount of ingredients – ‘as you like it’.
  2. Use dressing straight away or store in the fridge for your next salad (it improves with sitting).
  3. Serve with garden salad.
