Hot Smoked Salmon

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • Salmon fillet (skin on)
  • Cedar plank
  • Colman’s Wholegrain Mustard
  • Liquid honey

Method

  1. Mix equal parts of honey and Colman’s Wholegrain Mustard. Brush over salmon fillet.
  2. Soak cedar plank in water for at least 2 hours.
  3. Place salmon on cedar plank and cook on closed BBQ until cooked (about 30 minutes).
  4. Make sure you have water ready in case the plank catches fire (it should just smoke).
  5. Serve hot.
Note: the number of serves will depend on size of fillet and whether it is being served as an entrée or main.
