The Right Royal Mustard
Colman's rich history dates back to 1814 when Jeremiah Colman created a zesty blend of brown mustard and white mustard at a water mill in Stoke Holy Cross, England. (That's about the same time Wellington was preparing to defeat Napoleon at Waterloo!). For nearly 200 years, this time-honoured process has delivered the finest quality mustard. The ultimate seal of approval was given in 1866, when Queen Victoria recognised this English jewel by bestowing the Royal Warrant upon Colman's Mustard. Her Royal Majesty's household still uses Colman's products today and the Royal Warrant graces each Colman's item.
